Finding your Passion

Hello!!!!! Morning friends and Happy Memorial Day!

I can finally say I’m done with university until August!!!!! Remember last Wednesday when I told you I had two works left? They took me the entire day, and by that I mean I was all day in front of the computer, and I ended after 10:00 p.m. (of course I made a glorious finally dance). I thought I looked like this

When in reality I looked like this

Seriously, happy dances dancing is one thing I truly enjoy doing, especially after a hard-core trimester.

Anyways, today I wanted to talk about finding your passion. Why? Well, since I believe myself a ballet dancer my arrival to Miami I’ve been on a job search. I’ve had a couple of interviews, and I have taken a tiny portion of time to think about my passion. Let’s say I’m also going to the beach today to reflect on the topic for an entire day ;)

We spend most of our lives trying to be happy, and cursing all Monday’s because weekend is over. I think that once you find your passion it shouldn’t matter that it’s Monday, because you’ll be happy to wake up and “work”. It doesn’t mean that you won’t need the “weekend break”, but it does mean that every Sunday you won’t be stressing over Monday.

I know I love too many things, and I can’t picture myself doing the same job for 30 years (you know the 8-5 in an office style). Some people loves it, and let’s face it, it is kind of comfy to have nights and weekends off. However, I know the moment I start doing what I love, this 8-5 won’t fit my schedule.

Then, you might wonder, what are my passions? Acting and anything health/fitness related. People may say I’m crazy, or that I’m a dreamer, I prefer to say I’m finding my passion. Life is too short to not do what you love, and to spend it doing things you don’t enjoy (enter cheesy and cliché). With that in mind, I can finally say that soon enough I plan to embark in the health coach program. I haven’t decided when to start it yet, since I’m first trying to organize my thoughts, while designing a course of action to pursue both of my passions.

I’m really excited because, for the first time, I’m being honest with myself. I know that as soon as I’m organized I will go for it. Maybe I should do it now and  stop using excuses, but I need to establish myself first in order to do it. Wheeeewwww I feel relieved! I am saying what I love out loud :D #proud #sorrynotsorry.

Now I’m leaving, my tummy is groaning (seriously I think I have a monster inside, just kidding). Have a great day, and let’s remember those brave women and men that have fall while fighting for our “freedom”. To all of you who are alive: Thank you!

Monday question:

What are your passions?

I’ve never had the conventional 9-5 job. Even now I get my weekends off but I work at 4 in the morning. Ugh. I spend the rest of my day trying to stay awake and get things done. I miss being able to stay awake watching my favorite TV shows like I used to. But I do love my weekends being free.
Speaking about finding your passion, after attending the BlogHer conference I decided to view working at The Golf Channel as my “hobby” while writing has become my real “job” It sounds so simple but it has changed my outlook. I look forward to one day turning my writing into full time employment! Congrats on finishing the semester!

THanks Anna!!! I’m hoping that I can turn my blog into something more meaningful and my full-time job as well, combining it with nutrition and fitness.
