The Birthday Day

Hello my friends! Happy Wednesday!! Yesterday I had a lot of college works, and I spent time applying to jobs as well, so for now I think I’m going to switch to a three-days a week posts. I this switch will make everything easier when I start working, while finishing the degree, plus my health coach program (more details soon).

First, thank you for your warm and kind words of encouragement on this new move, and btw, I saw a lot of Whole Foods lovers :P Can I say that I’m really excited because I got a job interview with them in the Marketing Department? Yaaayyyy, that job would be awesome, so hopefully this will be my future job (high-five)!! Anyways… enough Whole Foods. I owe you the recap from my birthday weekend. Yahooo!! I turned 24 in May 2, which is the greatest day of the year ;) It’s my birthday duuuhhhh :P

The day started with an hour + 20 minutes drive home, after my first goodbye party from work. I decided to sleep until 9:00 a.m. because it was MY birthday and I can, right? A little later the neighbor came by, and then Jou invited me to the mall. I didn’t buy anything… but I took a birthday outfit selfie :P IMG_0529

I got home, ate delicious food, then I decided I wanted a black bean brownie as a birthday cake. I went to the supermarket, bought what I needed, and made it. A double batch of black bean brownie… yummylicious! I wanted it so bad that I ate a piece immediately after taking it out of the oven :Pblack bean brownie

A couple of minutes later my best friend called just to say that we were going out to celebrate my birthday, and that I had 5 minutes to get ready. Say what? I did it though :P We went bowling, and we had an amazing game, filled with fun and laughs, I got a 3rd place, woot woot! Most of the times I’m the last one :D IMG_0550IMG_0553IMG_0555IMG_0558Of course the night had to end with greasy, and unhealthy food… At 12:00 a.m. a slice of pizza was just heaven :D My birthday was beautiful, and I remembered why I have the best friends on earth! They made it special! However, I knew that some day during the weekend I was going to have a birthday party or a dinner, that’s the second part of this story and it was beautiful. I’ll post it tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Wednesday question:

How do you celebrate your birthday? Is it a normal day for you, or do you love to celebrate, go out and have fun?

I always work on my birthday it seems. This year I had to work at 4am and by the time I got home I was too exhausted to do anything. Noone celebrated or even wished me a Happy Birthday at work. I work on a TV show though, and so the day after MY day was one of the co-hosts on my show and she got a cake and food and flowers! I got nothing. :( I guess it is better to be in front of the camera……

You are absolutely adorable!! Love the birthday outfits (both daytime and nighttime!!) and yay for celebrating and having fun with friends. I am definitely someone who likes to party on my birthday and have a good time… definitely not just a regular old day for me! And how exciting about your job interview in the Whole Foods Marketing Department… that would be an amazing company to work for, and you’d be surrounded by super yummy food all the time! Yes!! Oh, and three times a week sounds like a very doable amount to post. And what’s this about health coaching… tell us more! Happy Wednesday :)

      Yay for the first time!

Black Bean Brownie does taste good… I prefer it warm, a couple of minutes after it’s done, the texture is really good, like a real brownie. You can refrigerate it, but it will taste better warm!!
