Life Lately & 5.7.14

Suuupp! :D

I’m back, after a couple of days off. Actually, I was off of wordpress, not the computer. Literally I’ve been a slave to it. Last month and a half of college means chaos. I’m seriously counting the days!!

Isn’t it ironic that Tuesday I wrote a post about finding a reason to go back? I honestly wanted to write, I had 1,000 reasons, but I had to choose between sitting more in front of the computer, and squeezing in a workout. You know which one won, right? I needed to move my butt from the chair, the bed, the floor, and every place I found to sit with my computer. You got to do what you got to do ;) Wheeewww!! That said, don’t forget the busy bee workout tips I gave you. There is no reason to skip a workout… sometimes it’s ok, but remember that if you can tweet, you can workout!

Saturday and Sunday I didn’t went out at all, just once to the Church. I wasn’t in the couch all day though, I tried new recipes (almost burned mom’s blender :P), helped mom with the house chores, and I kept reading the book Shift. Why am I reading a book about change? Well, because I finally bought my ticket to Miami and the date has been set: May 7, 2014 (5.7.14)!!!!! Less than a month for my new adventure! Remember when I first talked about it? At the moment I was checking dates, given my nephew’s baptism (which is next Sunday, yaaayyy), but now I have an official date, flight, and even seat :D

I can’t wait to move, and challenge my comfort zone. I won’t deny that is a bittersweet moment, I have to leave everything and everyone I know, maybe I’ll cry for days, but I know that I have to move. If I want to reach my dreams and goals, I need to leave the couch. Remember nothing worth having comes easy!

Now I’m leaving, I have a test to do, as well as some research! Have a wonderful day! I’ll be back tomorrow with healthy living again.

Monday question:

Have you been caught in a situation, where you have to choose between two things that you love?

Have you moved from the comfort of your home to pursue your dreams?

Xx Jess

Girl you will be just fine in Miami… I PROMISE! You may be scared, nervous and unsure, but I promise things will all workout. You’ll meet new people & see new parts of the world you’ve never seen before. Keep your head up. Besides, moving is fun – trust me as I’ve done it many times.. now in Kuwait!

Thanks Jessie!!! I am nervous and scared, but I’m hoping for the best!! I know everything will work out, it’s the change that scares the hell out of me, but I’m happily going after it :P

You better believe I have moved from my comfort zone of my home to pursue my dreams! Best decision I have ever made – You have to do it! You have to :) It’s scary to challenge your comfort zone but soon enough you will embrace change!

Ahhh, you are going to LOVE Miami! I am so proud of you for taking the reigns of life and moving outside of your comfort zone. How funny, because my blog post today was all about how important it is to get outside of our comfort zones too– we must be on the same wavelength!! And heck yes I have moved outside of my comfort zone to pursue my dreams. First to NYC, and soon back to LA where I know wonderful things are calling!! Xoxox

We definitively are on the same page :P LA: that’s my final destination (it’s the place where I can pursue my dreams)!! Thank you for the kind words Jordan!! We have to keep in touch with our adventures through the blog world!

What an exciting time for you!! When I was 18, I decided to move to London, England all by myself to travel for a year and it was the best decision I ever made. I learned so much about myself and I really cherish that time. And just four months ago I made a big move across the country with my boyfriend and our dog. We had a comfortable life, but we wanted more. The move has reignited a spark in us and we feel more inspired than ever. Good for you and congratulations on your big move!!

The confortable life feeling, I know it!! Sometimes you can have many things, but something is missing, and you have to found what it is!!! Thanks for the support!!

Oh my gosh how exciting! I can definitely understand that it’s scary though. I always like to say “better to regret something you did, then something you didn’t do”. Not that I think for a minute you will regret making the move! But there is always that worry at first before you go! You are young, and have to try these things and they will definitely work out for the better!

Hmmm, I’ve never moved places to pursue my dreams but would one day love to move state. I have been stuck in unhealthy relationships and work places before though. You know they types that suck your soul dry! I had to make a move then to get myself out of a bad rut.

Thanksss! I know the what if feeling can be haunting!!! I’d rather try and fail, than wonder what if! I know that at some point or another you’ll move too, and you’ll stop unhealthy relationships! It’s a matter of time. I wanted to move for so long, and whenever I was close to do it, something happened that I couldn’t do it. Now, nothing is holding me back :D

Ahhhhh good luck with the move!! I think you will be sad at first like everyone would but in the long run it’s going to be really great for you. Also, yes I constantly have to choose between working out or sitting on my couch and eating chocolate chips from the bag…. ;)
