Friday Favorites: Staples in my Kitchen

Wojooo Friday!!!!!! Excited anyone? I hope you are! Today I’m back into my Friday Favorites post, linking up with lovely Heather from Housewifeglamour. Without any further talking writing let’s share the things that are always in my Kitchen ;)

#1 Chia SeedsIMG_2158 This little magical seeds! I add them to everything I can: smoothies, cereal, waffles, overnight oats! Excellent source of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and protein! Need a boost for breakfast? Chia seeds!

#2 Milled flaxseedIMG_2151This huge package only cost me $6.99!! Say whaaat! Costco I love you ;) I usually used the seed, but then I found this bag, at a cheap price, and I couldn’t say no. This one is another healthy add-on for recipes!

#3 Rolled oatsIMG_2165I don’t use quick or instant oats anymore. This gigantic bag of oats needs to be in my kitchen at all times. I basically use oats for breakfast 6 out of 7 days in the week. Now you understand why they need to be in my kitchen 24/7?

#4 Organic Peanut ButterIMG_2159Ok, who doesn’t love peanut butter? Unless you are allergic, you know that pb and almond butter are soooooo delicious! I like to have either one of them, if not both. I use them for breakfasts, snacks, or even dinner. I prefer to buy them organic, because most commercial brands have a huge list of ingredients, and I don’t want high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oil, I want p e a n u t b u t t e r!

#5 100% Cocoa powderIMG_2160Being the chocolate lover that I am, well, it’s obvious that I need to have it for breakfast! I don’t do overnight oats without it, and I love to include it in my morning smoothie. It provides antioxidants, and is low-calorie. I’d rather have chocolate this way :P

#6 Unsweetened almond milkIMG_2162What would I do if I didn’t have this? I don’t even know how on earth I spent most of my life drinking cow milk O_0 Well, thank God I found it! I literally use it every.single.day.

#7 BananasIMG_2166I’m a monkey, what else can I say? For bananas I’ll do everything, even telling my nephew that if he eats the last one, we will have problems :D

#8 Cerealnatures pathWhen I’m not eating oatmeal, well, I’m eating this :D Combined with banana, almond milk and chia seeds, one happy morning!! Actually, it was yesterday’s breakfast ;)

#8 Not pictured: sweet potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and sources of whole grains.

Wheeew list done, all of them are breakfast related though O_0, you can see that it’s my favorite meal of the day ;)

    Wow!! These are some great things!! I love CHIA seed pudding!! YUM! and that peanut butter looks delicious! Btw I drink Almond milk sooo much at college!! LOVE it!!

      You know that I also discovered a coffee shop that has almond milk on the menu, and I was thrilled! You have no idea how hard is to find them around here!!
