Couch potato weekend

Dear Monday friends: Hi :D How are you? the weekend? Fast? In Puerto Rico is long weekend due to the celebration of Eugenio María de Hostos birthday (known as the Citizen of America). So, I’ll take advantage of it and do some  college work, as well as some research on jobs for a place I’ll be moving soon :D, nervous? Yesss! Excited? Even more ;)

The weekend summary would be in healthy eating, workouts, couch potato, a thousand pieces puzzle, a delicious Chocolate Covered Katie Black Bean Brownie and an earthquake last night.

Regarding workouts, Friday was a leg day + cardio, my leg workout looked like this one I shared.

Saturday was a cardio tabata workout, similar to this one I shared a couple of weeks ago.

Sunday was a walk/jog/run afternoon.IMG_2484IMG_2485

Remember the puzzle from Friday Favorites? Jou and I completed it in about 7.5-8 hours. We started it on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Our schedule was 6:30p.m. – 10:45p.m., 12:30 a.m. (yup I stayed up until late doing a puzzle instead of hanging out! Am I getting old?) Then on Saturday afternoon around 5:30 we finish the last and most difficult part, but I decided to use my analytical skills so I finished it in one hour :D The process looked like this:IMG_2473IMG_2474IMG_2475IMG_2476IMG_2477IMG_2478IMG_2479IMG_2480Pretty isn’t it? I fell in love the first time I saw it!

Why couch potato? Well, I also told you on Friday Favorites that I was obsessed with Once Upon a Time, so I’m almost done with season 2. Yeah, I spent the weekend watching it instead of studying. Well, I got today to catch up right?

My weekend highlight was the super delicious recipe of Black Bean Brownie from Chocolate Covered Katie. Oh my God! That girl and her recipes, they are all so delicioussss!! I must mention that I used rolled oats instead of quick oats, and honey instead of agave as the recipe is written, but it didn’t matter. I made a super-awesome, dairy free, no sugar added, no flour, no preservatives, all natural, organic and non-gmo ingredients brownie. Happy version of myself :DIMG_2481IMG_2085

The only bad thing about the weekend was last night earthquake. Every place in Puerto Rico shake and that feeling is horrible!!! THank God nothing bad happened, we are so blessed!

That’s all for today, I’ll come tomorrow to share some thoughts on Exercise clothes around stores, due to New Year’s resolutions. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great beginning of the week.

Monday question

Have you ever spent a whole weekend sitting on a couch watching TV series or movies? Isn’t it amazing ;)
